Connect NP Designer to Business Central
A NaviPartner consultant performs the initial organization and connection setup. Customers provide the appropriate administrative assistance for the Business Central integration and application consent. Customers should contact their consultant if the connection has not been configured.
Prepare the connection
If the designer is being setup for the first time NaviPartner recommends starting in a fresh sandbox if possible. Confirm the tenant, environment, and company that will be connected. The integration requires the Microsoft Entra application to be configured in Business Central with the appropriate permissions and consent. Your consultant coordinates this setup with your administrator.
Configure the Designer connection
- A Microsoft Entra application has to be created by NaviPartner consultant, and global admin needs to grant consent for the application

- Select Create Connection when setting up the connection for the first time.
- Copy the generated API key to the API key field on the NP Designer Setup Card in the corresponding Business Central environment.
