Set up digital notifications
Before enabling sending, prepare NP Email and NP Designer, described below, then open Digital Notification Setup.
- Populate the relevant templates and enable the message types you use.
- On Ecommerce Setup, run Configure Digital Notification Job Queue.
- Verify the recipient and language on a test document.
- Open Digital Notification Entries and check notification type, status, and error if present.
- Verify the actually received message and all product links.
The Create Job Queue Entry action on Digital Notification Setup itself is intended for non-Ecommerce notifications, such as invoices and credit memos. For Ecommerce, use its dedicated job above. On the Ecommerce document card, Send Digital Assets Notification, Send Order Confirmation Notification, and Digital Notification Entries are available for operational work.
NP Email
NP Email is a prerequisite for sending messages through this channel. The administrator should verify an active account through NP Email Account Setup, the registered domain, and the templates selected in Digital Notification Setup.
The complete procedure is described in NP Email. If messages are not received or end up in spam, use the email-deliverability guidance referenced from that page.
For setup acceptance, it is sufficient to verify that a test Ecommerce message uses the expected sender, template, recipient, and content.
NP Designer
For digital-product rendering, verify the NPDesigner Setup Card, service access, and the designs for the relevant product types. For the manifest flow, verify Enable Manifest and the digital-assets address Assets URL.
Link the appropriate design labels to the tickets, vouchers, coupons, memberships, or wallet template that you deliver. In testing, open the digital representation of an actually created product and verify that it shows the correct data.
Detailed reference: Use the NP Designer.
