Create new POS store

Learn how to create a new POS store in this article.

To create new POS store follow the provided steps:

  1. Search for POS store, and choose the related link.
    A list of all existing POS stores will be displayed.
  2. Click New.
    The POS Store Card popup window will be displayed.
  3. Fill all necessary fields in the General section.
Field NameDescription
CodeThe unique code for the POS store.
NameSpecifies the name of the POS store.
Name 2The second name of a store.
AddressSpecifies the store address
Address 2Specifies an additional address line.
Post CodeSpecifies the postal code of the store.
CitySpecifies the name of the city in which the store is located.
ContactSpecifies the contact of the store.
CountrySpecifies the country in which the store is located.
Country/Region codeSpecifies the code of the country/region the store is located in.
Location CodeSpecifies the code of the location the store uses for inventory.
Language CodeSpecifies the code of the language used in the POS store.
Registration No.Specifies the registration number used for the store.
  1. Fill all necessary fields in the Communication section.

Phone No.Specifies the phone number of the store.
E-mailSpecifies the email address used in the store.
Home PageSpecifies the link to the store’s website.
  1. Fill all necessary fields in Profiles tab.
  • POS Restaurant Profile - The profile defined for restaurants and restaurant seats.
  • POS Posting Profile - The profile defined for postings. In this profile you can define which business groups store will be used for postings (VAT business and General business posting group), source code; whether the entries will be compressed after posting or not, and which accounts will be used for rounding and differences.
  1. Fill all necessary fields in the Reporting section.
Field NameDescription
Department CodeSpecifies the global dimension which will be assigned to all entries from this store.
Project CodeSpecifies the global dimension which will be assigned to all entries from this store.
Store Group CodeThe code of the group that this store belongs to. It is used for reports.
Store Category CodeSpecifies the category that this store belongs to. It is used for reports.
Store Locality CodeSpecifies the store locality used for reports.
Store SizeSpecifies the size of the store
Opening DateSpecifies the date on which the store is opened.
Geolocation LatitudeSpecifies the latitude of the store’s location.
Geolocation LongitudeSpecifies the longitude of the store’s location
