Fetch preset setup data

It's possible to fetch preset configurations on your environment, to make the overall environment setup easier.

It’s possible to fetch preset configurations on your environment, to make the overall environment setup easier. To do this, follow the provided steps:

  1. From the NP Store Assistant Role Centre click Download Setup Configuration.
    The popup window in which you can select which package you wish to download is displayed.

  2. Click the Ellipsis icon button, and then select the data template you wish to fetch.

    NaviPartner offers 3 sets of setup data for NP Store Assistant:

    • Live Template - Capture Services (NP Store Assistant LIVE - CS ONLY) The live template contains preconfigured setup tables and master data ready to be used when setting up a new company. Only Setup tables for Capture Services are included.

    • Live Template (NP Store Assistant LIVE)
      The live template contains preconfigured setup tables and master data ready to be used when setting up a new company. Also included a set of preconfigured Locations for warehousing

    • Demo Data (NP Store Assistant TEST DATA)
      The demo template contains preset examples and data that can be used for demo purposes or training.

  3. Click Finish.
    The template installation is initiated.

Note: During the process, you may be prompted to take action If there are data duplicates. If you’ve changed the Order Date on the sales order, or made some other changes that may impact the prices or discounts, you will be advised to review the sales order lines after the template installation is complete.

  1. Follow through with the installation process and take any necessary action.
    After fetching of the data and installation is complete, a confirmation message is displayed, and the relevant data becomes available in the environment.
