# POS Loyalty profile

> The POS loyalty profile is used in the context of the Loyalty module. It allows you to configure loyalty-specific settings on POS units.

The following fields and options are available:

| Field Name                 | Description                                                                                                                                   |
| -------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Code**                   | Specifies the unique ID of the POS loyalty profile.                                                                                           |
| **Description**            | Specifies the short description of the profile.                                                                                               |
| **Assign Loyalty On Sale** | When enabled on the POS unit, loyalty points will be assigned to a member automatically whenever they participate in a sale on that POS unit. |
