# NP Designer Product Overview

Use NP Designer to control the appearance of digital products issued from Business Central. Add branding, explanatory text, images, and scannable codes, and insert dynamic fields to display data for the issued product. A ticket design can, for example, display the ticket number and the reserved visit date.

Designs are managed within an organization. NaviPartner creates your organization and the initial organization administrator user. The designer can be connected to the relevant Business Central tenant, environment, and company. Business Central then uses the design labels selected in its product setup to render the digital products.

Creating a design, assigning it in Business Central, and delivering a digital product are separate tasks. Complete and test all relevant tasks before using a new design for customers.

## Get started with NP Designer

### Before you begin

* Ask your NaviPartner consultant to create your organization and an organization administrator user.
* Ask your NaviPartner consultant to configure the connection to the correct environment and company, or setup connection yourself with help from the how to guide on setting up connection. It is possible to have a connection to both live and prelive environment simultaneously.
* Start new setups in a sandbox. NaviPartner recommends creating a fresh sandbox so the test environment is as up to date as possible.
* Prepare the ticket, voucher, coupon, membership, or wallet setup that will use the design in BC.

### Sign in

1\. Open [https://designer.npretail.app/](https://designer.npretail.app/).

2\. Enter the email address registered for your NP Designer user and select Next.

3\. Find the one-time code in your email inbox.

4\. Enter the code and select Login.

NP Designer uses passwordless sign-in. Access is granted to registered users. If your email address has not been registered, ask your organization administrator or NaviPartner consultant to arrange access.
