# Introduction to NP Passes

## General

NP Passes issues Apple Wallet passes for member cards. Business Central sends the member a signed landing link, and NP Passes builds the pass from the card data returned by the [Get Card using Id](/apis/api-reference/memberships/service-card/get-card-id) endpoint. The design used is the one selected on the membership type, returned as `membership.passDesignHandle`.

## WebHooks

The following webhook can be subscribed to:

* **nppass_updated** — Emitted when data shown on a card's wallet pass changes, so NP Passes can refresh the pass on the member's devices. It carries the pass serial number only.
